"Who the hell blew up the park!" I stand at the edge of a huge crater that was once a luscious park. At the bottom of the crater, a large amounted of water (I assume what used to be Lake Moar) has collected. But other than that the crater is completely feartureless. I can't sense even a blade of grass or a single seed. I shake my head, reach into my coat, and pull out a small drawstring bag. I can't just leave it like this; without the park's abundance of flora, how can I instantaneously create an army of plant minions when I'm in that kind of mood? Luckily, I've started carrying a variety of plant seeds wherever I go, so I won't have to reforest the entire park from scratch. I open the bag and pore its entire contents into my hand. I walk a bit down the slope and then fling the seeds out in front of me. They burst into full grown shrubs and trees the moment they hit the ground and I now have a miniature forest. "Sorry guys but you're just not going to cut it. Don't worry, you'll be used for a good cause." I wave goodbye as the plants seems to liquify and seep into the ground. "Now then!" I roll my neck and crack my knuckles. Then, in one sudden motion, I fling my arms out in front of me. Starting from my feet, a wave of grass ripples down the crater all the way to the remains of lake Moar. Panting, I sit down heavily on the now green and slightly springy ground. The carpet of grass only covers this side of the huge crater, but it will defiantly makes things easier when I get some of my energy back.

Post by KaxiaXLI Tue Apr 14, 2015 11:13 pm

Kaxia is out looking for something fun to do as always. Today, she had already discovered the taste of several foods she'd never tried before such as sea-salt ice-cream, spark lemon, and the utterly delicious "Tatsumi" Burger; the concept of munny; how to pay for said food with munny; and how to run away when one didn't have enough munny to pay for said food. Yes, it was a rather hectic day, but now that she had successfully escaped from various food shop owners, Kaxia was once again looking for more excitement. This was when she spotted G.exka from afar. She began to run up behind him, but her pace slowed down as she saw him pull out a bag of seeds. Still new to the city, she hadn't realized that the barren crater that lay before her was once a beautiful and lush park, full of life. Just as she was about five feet behind G.exka, he brought a mini forest to life right before her eyes. Although she too had the power to create lush and beautiful forests, her excitement and curiosity for the amazing world around her never ceased and she let out a, "WOOOooow!" as her eyes sparkled brilliantly.

"G.exka! You're amazing!" Kaxia says as he sits down. She crouches down next to him and continues, "I didn't know you could control plants!" Kaxia turns to look at the grassy expanse, "Do you mind if I try?" Her eyes burned with eagerness to help G.exka and let her dryad form loose.

Not having heard Kaxia approach, I jump a bit (Well at least as much as a person sitting on the ground can jump). I immediately relax when I see it's only her. "Yes, yes I am. Wasn't it immediately apparent the first time we met or are you just stating the obvious." I grin and settle back on my elbows. "I'm a bit new to the whole 'plants obey my every command thing' and am still trying to get the hang of it. I wasted way more energy than I needed to creating all this grass, so some help would be greatly appreciated." I lean forward a bit in anticipation, eager to see what another plant-controller-person can do.

Replanting the Park Empty Re: Replanting the Park

Post by KaxiaXLI Fri Apr 17, 2015 3:52 pm

"Wahooo!"  Without warning, Kaxia stands up and begins to undress herself.  She flings off her tank top and bra and pulls down her jeans and panties.  She kicks them aside, the whole process taking about five seconds, and before giving anyone a chance to respond to her nudity she quickly transforms into her dryad form.  Her wild grass hair rustles in the light breeze and a few wild flowers fall from her hair.  Her hands are covered in armor-like gloves made of tree bark, small leaves sprout from her ankles and some cover her more private parts, maintaining some, though not much, of her modesty.

She runs freely into the vast field straight in front of her and Gex.ka, with each step she leaves behind a patch of clover where her feet once were.  Raising her hands in the air, she switches from a sprint to a chain of cartwheels, lush raspberry bushes suddenly sprout up on her left side and large blackberry bushes begin to grow to her right, creating a ten yard long tunnel of berry shrubs.  At the end of the tunnel, Kaxia lands her cartwheel chain, walking backwards facing the shrubs with a spring in her step.  She then turns around and swoops her arms towards the sky in a grand motion, wide smile on her face.  A large willow tree shoots out from the ground, rapidly changing from a measly sprout to a grand tree in a matter of seconds.  It towers over Kaxia, the ends of it's large branches sway just above the earth.  Kaxia felt it was like the tree was about to tickle the ground, but the earth was eternally in giddy anticipation for the moment the tree's branches would actually reach down to touch it.  She smiled, it reminded her of when her mother would threaten to tickle her and she would laugh from anticipation before her mother even touched her.  She looked up at the tree's branches and spotted a single sturdy branch that ran nearly parallel to the ground.  She summoned a few sturdy vines to fall from the branch and grabbed onto them with her left hand.  With her right hand, she broke of a piece of wood from one of the branches that sprouted from her head.  At her command, it grew out into a flat board-like shape.  She tied it between two vines, creating a natural swing that looked like it belonged in a novel.  She gave the vines a tug, and nodded in approval, finding the swing sturdy enough for her standards.  Continuing her work, she ran to an empty bit of field located diagonally right from where Gex.ka sat and scooped her arms up in a grand motion once again, this time as if she were lifting something heavy above her head.  Her arms wavered a bit, but stood strong as a small orchard of various fruit trees grew around her.  One section had several varieties of apple, another had various types of pears, there were also sections set aside for plums, apricots, figs, and cherries.  It was comparable to a medium sized forest.  A bit out of breath, Kaxia swung her hands down as if slamming them on a table.  At the same time, all of the fruit from the trees fell to the ground with a cacophonous rumble and rotted away nearly instantaneously.  That should be plenty of nutrients...  She breathed in slowly, and breathed out even slower, calming herself and focusing her mind.  She breathed in once more, lifting her hands palm side up to her chest.  As she breathed out, she pushed her hands out in front of her, fingers facing in, palms forward.  It wasn't immediately obvious that she had spread out the nutrients from the rotted fruit all throughout the park's land.  The grass and various plant life that Kaxia had created had life breathed into them, every bit of color in the various fauna was just a bit brighter than it was before.

She ran back in Gex.ka's direction, arms flung backward, palms facing out to her sides.  As she ran, wisteria trees grew on both sides behind her, forming a picturesque tunnel of different colored wisteria flowers.  About 20 yards away from Gex.ka, she closed her hands into fists, halting the growth of more wisteria trees and completing the tunnel.  Her sprint slowed down to a light jog and eventually a trudging walk.  Finally, she stopped near Gex.ka, falling backward into the grass next to him.  She splayed out her arms, breathing heavily, but also laughing lightheartedly.  As she breathed, her chest rose up and down, small beads of sweat glistened on her body.  "Haaaahhh...  I've never- *huff* made that many *huff* plants before...  *huff*  I'm actually a little tired, haha!"  She lifted her head, propping herself up on her elbows, and stared out at the park.  She had only filled about a quarter of it with her orchard.  "Man... and there's still so much to go..."  Kaxia had finally caught her breath and calmly watched the serene image of all the different plants rustling and gently swaying in the wind.

Replanting the Park Empty Re: Replanting the Park

Post by GexkaXXV Sun Apr 19, 2015 9:09 pm

I look up at the clouds when Kaxia begins to remove her clothes. I don't really get what the big deal is, but women tend to attack me when I walk through their walls while their changing, men too for that matter. Actually, most people attack me when I walk through their wall. Can't image why. When I look back at Kaxia she's transformed into a plant-girl hybrid and is already growing berry bushes. I watch with appreciation as she moves around the park creating life as she goes. When she comes back over, I stuff the rest of the blackberries in my hand into my mouth and clap enthusiastically. "I'm not surprised. If I tried to do all that at once with so little resources, I'd be in a coma. I can't even do fruits." I wave my hand, growing a large fern and giving Kaxia some shade. "Don't worry, we'll tag team it." I reach over and and touch her hand, tagging myself in. I stand up and begin to walk toward the left. As I walk I allow random small shrubs and flowers to sprout around me. I raise my hand with the palm facing toward the side of the crater that is still bare. I push my hand forward and bits and pieces of plant matter begin to detach themselves from their places and float toward that side of the crater, as if carried by a light breeze. A blade of grass here, a willow leaf there, a wisteria petal in between; not enough to be noticeable in their absence but enough that it looks like a light snow is falling sideways. When the pieces touch down on the opposite side of the crater they send out roots, anchoring themselves to the soil. I make a flicking motion with my hand and the plant bits all transform into grass. Using the nutrients that Kaxia spread throughout the soil, the spots of grass grow together, forming a field just as vibrant as the one on this side of the crater.
I look down at myself and flex my hand experimentally. Kaxia did a great job with the soil; it barely cost me anything to grow that entire field. After I'm well away from Kaxia's plants, I stop walking. "Okay, while I might not be able to grow an orchard, I can definitely do an old fashioned grove." I spread my arms wide open and concentrate. In different spots in a 1000 foot circle around me, blades of grass begin to twine together, coiling around each and growing taller, forming featureless green stalks. There are about 300 of these uniform stalks and they continue to grow till they are all 20 feet tall and 1 foot thick. I smile, deciding to let each stalk make its own decision about what type of tree they want to be. I then supply them with the necessary energy to fuel their transformation and watch as they begin to change, some grow taller, others shorter; some become thin, others thick; some are deciduous, some are coniferous. When their transformations are complete, I survey the new grove of trees. The majority are oaks and pines, but I also see firs, spruces, maples, willows, junipers, aspens, ashes, cedars, and a variety of others. I even spot a palm tree and a cactus. I take a moment to make sure all the different species in the grove will live together and then begin to walk back to Kaxia to tag her in (and I still haven't tried any of those raspberries yet).

Post by KaxiaXLI Tue Apr 21, 2015 3:01 pm

Kaxia happily thanked Gexka for the fern, “Ahh, thank you!”  She was about to ask what it meant to “tag team” something when Gexka tapped her hand and ran into the field to pick up from where Kaxia left off.  OOOooooooohhhhh…  She watched in awe as he made a fluttering, graceful blizzard out of flower petals, leaves, and blades of grass.  It was breathtakingly beautiful.  As he erects an entire grove of trees, each one different from the other, she admires each tree.  As Gexka began to walk back toward Kaxia, she jumps up and sprints in his direction, doing a few somersaults on the way.  She high-fives him and continues running to an open space yet to be filled by the plant-controlling duo.  She stops in the middle of the open area and puts her hand on her chin, contemplating what to make.  Looking around, she figures there should be a place for the children of the city to play.  Raising her hands in the air, several enormous bundles of vines shoot up from the ground.  Each bundle twists and contorts until they eventually form the shape of a play house, complete with openings for windows and doorways.  She pointed at the ground next to the small collection of houses and flicked her wrist upward, summoning an enormous tree covered in vines.  Its branches were full of lush green leaves.  She placed both of her hands onto the trunk of the tree.  Its bark grew over her hands, becoming one with her.  The tree’s branches and trunk suddenly began to twist and contort at oddly parallel and perfectly perpendicular angles.  Soon, a stairway formed leading up to a wooden balcony and small house.  The vines that wrapped around the tree now began to form a natural railing for the stairway and grew over the roof of the house, decorating the house beautifully.  “Ungh!”  Kaxia ripped her hand out of the tree forcefully.  She picked off bits of tree bark that had stuck to her arms and stepped back from the tree to admire it.  She turned to the empty area behind her and swung her arms upward.  Several tree stumps began to grow out of the ground, bits of dirt and grass fell off the stumps as they grew.  Each stump was halted at a different point in the process of growing towards the sky, forming a fun climbing structure.  Next to it, she used several large tree branches to form a set of monkey bars.  Elsewhere, she had vines sprout from the ground and come together to form a tunnel for the children to crawl through.  Unsure of what else to put in the play area she turned and ran back to Gexka.

I manage to stuff my face with raspberries and walk over to the fern before collapsing. Using minimal effort I grow a mossy bench up from under me. It might be a good idea to grow these throughout the park. I swallow the berries and let out a huge yawn. I wave to Kaxia and call out to her as she walks back. "Good job! I didn't even think about that. And that thing where you fused with the tree was super cool. You have to tell me how you did that." I begin to nod off but catch myself at the last second and jerk awake. "Sorry, but I've got to pass out for a few minutes. Don't really have a choice. I may have overestimated myself a bit with that grove." I don't want to be rude but my body's is demanding something that I can not refuse. I do hope she's still here when I wake up. 'I hope I don't sleep too long', is my last thought before I'm off to dreamland.

Replanting the Park Empty Re: Replanting the Park

Post by KaxiaXLI Thu Apr 23, 2015 4:49 pm

Kaxia gasps as Gex-ka conks out on the ground.  Confused, she looked around to see if there was anyone who could help.  However, she figured it best if she just took care of the situation herself.  She conjures up a bed of sage, lambs ear, lavender, and cotton underneath Gex-ka.  Underneath the soft bedding, a woven mat of vines keeps the bed from directly touching the ground.  She puts her hands on her hips and stands back, happy with the comfy bed she made.

    *drip*

Kaxia flinched from the cold drop of water that hit her nose.  She looked up at the sky which has suddenly turned a dark grey.  "Uh-oh..."  Kaxia opens up a dark corridor, expecting it to lead to the castle.  However, still not accustomed to her new abilities as a nobody, the corridor leads to a fiery pit of lava.  Fire spews out of the corridor, nearly burning her had she not stepped out of the way.  In a panicked manner, she quickly shuts the corridor.  "Hey Gex-ka could you..."  She stops mid-sentence, remembering that Gex-ka was sound asleep.  "Oh yeah..."  Kaxia begins to feel a few heavy drops of rain fall on her shoulders.  "Ah- uhm..."  She looks back and forth from Gex-ka to the large tree house she built.  "Let's go, buddy!"  Kaxia makes a handle out of the some of the vines underneath Gex-ka's bed.  She grabs on to the handle and begins running towards the house dragging a peacefully sleeping Gex-ka close behind.

When she reached the steps, Kaxia had the vines from the tree do the heavy lifting and lift Gex-ka and his bed to the small hut near the top of the tree.  She, on the other hand, takes the stairs.  At the top of the tree, Kaxia guides the branches to put Gex-ka down gently inside the house.  Although she had built the external parts of the building, she hadn't yet furnished it.  In fact, it was rather bare and boring inside.  She had the tree put Gex-ka and his bed in the middle of the floor.  I guess I'll just wait for Gexka to wake up so he can make us a corridor to the castle...  Kaxia went to a nearby window, summoned a stump to use as a stool, and sat down, staring out the window.  How did the weather change so quickly?!  It was so nice a few minutes ago...  This city is strange...  Kaxia looked back at Gex-ka who had miraculously slept through the whole ordeal.  Maybe when he wakes up I can ask him about himself.  He seems really nice, it'd be a shame to not get to know him.  Kaxia looks back out the windowsill, crossing her arms on the sill of the window and resting her head on top.  She stared at the falling rain for a bit, listening to its monotonous calming sound.  I'll just rest my eyes for a bit while I wait for him to wake up...  Soon, Kaxia was sleeping just as peacefully as Gex-ka.

Post by GexkaXXV Sun Apr 26, 2015 12:02 am

I wake up an hour later with a large yawn. I spring out of the makeshift bed and land silently on my feet (not an easy thing to do in boots). I look around, wondering where I am and if I should be worried. I spot Kaxia sleeping on a stump next to a window and relax. Judging from the light from said window it's almost night. I can't believe I slept so long! I walk over to the window and to my relief the darkness only being caused by the weather. The rain's not coming down in sheets, but the drop are large and fat, making it impossible to go anywhere without getting soaked to the bone. I try to create a portal in the middle of the room to take us to the castle but only get a headache for my troubles. I then try and grow an umbrella from the floor and am rewarded with the same pain. Looks like I'm still not recharged.

I look over at Kaxia. I shouldn't leave her alone and I can't drag her into the rain while she's sleeping. Looks like we're stuck here. A wicked smile crosses my face. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun. I slowly creep up on her, placing my feet carefully to avoid making any sounds. I then slowly extend my hand toward her face and then carefully, ever so carefully...
